Steal her style- Kim Kardashian II

In my last post inspired by Kim Kardashian’s style, (check it here) I had mentioned that I used something from one of her styles which I’ll be posting next. So here I am with the post which features a skull print scarf. I switched my statement necklace with a scarf to give my outfit more of a casual vibe while earlier look was more on the dressier side.  And that’s the power of accessories; it can dress up or dress down any outfit and Kim seems to know it very well.

Well, that is all for now on Kim Kardashian’s style. I might be doing more posts in future on her or other celebrities, till then .......stay stylish!

Steal her style- Kim Kardashian

Love her or hate or but you can’t ignore her and yes it’s Kim Kardashian that I am talking about. While many of us still wonder what exactly she is famous for, let me tell you that she is always making headlines with her fabulous fashion and impeccable style. Besides her glamorous red carpet events fashion sense, I find her street style  very chic and quite easy to replicate as she is mostly seen wearing jeans, blazers, boots, scarfs and statement necklaces or earrings. I thought it would be fun to take inspiration from her street styles and incorporate into my styling.

My look in this post is mainly inspired from her style in the pictures above. I didn’t really wanted to copy her exact look in any of the pictures but took pieces and patterns  as an inspiration from these looks to come up with something of my own.  Here, I am wearing the same colourway in her third look (blue while and black) i.e. blue blazer, white tank top and black skinnies(previously worn here) while she is wearing  blue skinnies and black jacket. I kept the black boots(previously worn here) and white tank top as is though her boots are much of a statement piece than mine. My black faux fur and leather handbag (previously worn here) is inspired by her first look, where she is looking really fierce wearing black fur vest and leather pants.  Adding a statement necklace completes the look which this time, is inspired from her second look. There is something that I have used from her fourth look which I’ll be posting in my next blog post. For now, enjoy the pictures!

Seventies Flare

Platform shoes and bell bottoms pants are the first things that come to our mind when we think out the 70s fashion. 70’s was all about free spirited attitude and revolution which was expressed through what people wore. It’s definitely one of my favorite fashion decade for its versatility, colours and mix of toned down and streamlined look that exude sophistication and class while the flowy boho clothes screamed femininity and casualness. Because of its versatility, 70s fashion and clothing inspiration is found almost eerywhere and it continues to influence the current fashion trends today.

Well today’s outfit is dedicated to the very stylish 70s style. I am wearing this beige palazzo pants for extra flare paired with burnt orange button up shirt, cinching my wait with a chunky belt. I love this color combination of beige and burnt orange and it’s becoming one of my favorite colors to mix together. Animal prints were huge in 70’s and now they are everywhere, so how can I not use these gorgeous prints to accessorize my look? Here, I am wearing this pretty leopard print stole and a platform pumps in similar prints, looks quite coordinated and thoughtful! This outfit is really casual, comfy and with the earthy colors palette, it’s very much appropriate for daytime wear. It’s really an easy look to put together and looks effortlessly chic…..love 70s!

Leather Love

There is something about so chic about leather pants, they lend an heir of sophistication and elegance to the wearer. Leather pants are yet another timeless piece in any fashionista’s closet; they are fun, trendy and super sexy. I have been wanting want to buy to a perfect pair of black leather pants for the longest time now since the ones that I own don’t fit me anymore (I got my first leather pants when I was seventeen; I still have them)

Since I didn’t want to spend too much money (leather pants can be quite costly), I opted to these PU leather leggings for experimental purpose. They can’t replace the actual high quality leather but I’m quite happy with it as they serve the purpose. As these bottoms are so versatile, the styling opportunities are endless.

Here, I paired my pants with a camel collarless blazer (suede) and a white shirt)silk and chiffon) with hit of leopard accents It got little chilly a night so I wore these beret(knitwear) which kept the black and camel colour blocking theme going. To toughen up the look even more, I wore these military leather boots which is one of my recent purchases for autumn. This ensemble is a great mixture of color and textures as I’m wearing leather, suede, silk & chiffon and knitwear all at the same time, quite interesting I must say. I wore this look for a dinner with my partner the other might but it’s perfect for all occasions when you want to look rough and tough yet elegant and stylish.
