Wildlife - fur, leather and leopard print details

Sydney is experiencing one of it's coldest winter days this June while I am enjoying being super lazy than ever before. No wonder, I haven't wrote any posts in last two weeks! It's not that I hate winters, in fact I love them. It's the time of the year when you get to be super creative about fashion and styling with all that layerings, tall boots, statement coats, cute knit wears, fun scarves and all. Wish I could blog more than I do now, I can at least try to do more posts on winter fashion and styling in coming days,I promise.

About the outfit:
It's not until I started writing this post I realized that this particular outfit I am wearing is very much inspired by wildlife, let's counts all the details here; faux fur vest(even though it's faux fur, it still is fur), leather pants, leather boots and last but not the least, leopard print scarf.....phew! I wonder what would happen to our fashion and styling sense if we didn't have animals for inspiration. Anyways, I had fun putting together this outfit for my weekend shopping and stroll in the city when the weather was bit warmer and nicer than past few days.

Dark Secrets- Burgundy and Black

Playing with dark colours in winter is always fun and so is mixing & matching different textures for layering.

Here I’m working with two of my favourite colours, black & burgundy, and classic winter staples; knitwear and leather. I paired my burgundy knitwear with black leather leggings(styled here before) and layered a black leather jacket over it, threw on my pointy burgundy ankle booties and I’m all set to go. I find this colour combination and pairings bold, intense and mysterious as if I’m hiding some dark secrets within!

Welcoming winter in mustard coat

Winter is here and today's cold & wet weather assures it's arrival. I had plans to go to city for the shoot but couldn't do so as it was raining all day and it still is. Since I had my hair, make up and styling done,  I went out for dinner and clicked few pictures before leaving.

I in love with everything mustard this season, it's the new black for me! I was waiting to shoot with my current favourite Mustard coat that I got from Asos few weeks ago and finally today was the day. I styled it as a dress with some warm knitwear worn inside and  paired with tall boots in tan colour, kept it fairly simple and minimal. Added an orangy coral statement earrings for that pop of color and for a handbag, I chose this cute little shoulder bag in mustard and tan to go with  the color scheme of the outfit. I absolutely love this paring, it's warm, cozy and stylish at the same time. perfect for winter.

I loved what my make up artist used  on me today, the products were from a cosmetic line called ED. Pinaud  that I have never heard before. So, here I took some pictures to post in my blog  since those products were really fancy and high quality, I loved  packing the most. Hope you guys like it too.

Thanks for reading.....
